The Nest: Xetova and Zaidi, two Kenya-based startups bags funding commitment

The startups, Xetova and Zaidi, participated in the Nest pitching show that took place just recently and bagged funding commitments.

The Nest, a digital event that’s zoom-based, has been a source of inspiration and joy to many startups, particularly in Africa. Each week, startups walk home with funding commitments from various investors.

Various startups have benefited from the zoom-based event. These include OneLamp, InterLab, and now, Xetova and Zaidi.

Xetova, an interactive platform designed to bring improved performance in Africa’s procurement marketplace, got funding commitments and expression of interest from investors. These include Sewu-Steve Tawia, Aniko Szigetvari – Atlantica Ventures founding partner, and Laurent Lamothe, founder of R-ventures.

Besides Xetova, another startup that pitched and got funding commitments is Zaidi. But all eyes were on Xetova. Both startups are from Kenya.
